The battle was coming to an end, especially now that they'd caught the Skulls' leader. "Next, we destroy their base." The Red Skulls' leader was a man missing an eye. He mocked Kraken, saying pirates who hunt other pirates aren't really pirates. She hit him right in the face for that. Sent him straight to his knees. She said she couldn't let anyone—pirate or not—pillage, destroy, and hurt others for no reason. At the end of it all, the Red Skulls' flag was taken down, and Kraken's flag went up in its place. I started to tell her how her actions and words had hurt me, and they made me feel disrespected, even if she didn't mean them in that way. "I thought I had to protect everyone, including you, just like on my ship. That's all that was on my mind, so I didn't realize I was hurting you. I'm sorry..." I had fought with Kraken countless times, but this was the first time she apologized. I realized she might be so used to everyone relying on her that she doesn't know how to rely on others. That must be why she always asserted her opinions so strongly. I walked over to her and patted her on the head. She looked at the ground, seemingly embarrassed.
