    Story

Surprised, I ran after her into the forest, where I saw her stop on a small tree. I looked up and saw a little nest. She skillfully placed the dish on some small branches and started moving her feed into the nest. I was both surprised and impressed. She was sharing her food with a group of younger birds. I got the impression that she was looking over them because their mother wasn't around. I figured I should leave to give them some space. I didn't want to scare the little ones. I decided I would need to buy more bird feed, and as I walked back home, I started calculating how much we would need.

    Story

I wrapped myself up in a blanket and had my telescope in hand as I waited expectantly for a Pip to appear. At first, I wondered to myself what I was doing, but after I grew comfortable, I started to feel like I was on a holiday in the mountains. I had a warm cup of tea and was enjoying the sunlight shining in through the windows when I dozed off. When I came to, I sensed a presence outside and looked at the food dish. I almost screamed. Among the birds feeding was a water Pip. My effort had not been in vain. The moment I tried to get my Astrogun ready, I looked over and the Pip was gone. "It's okay," I thought. "I've got lots of time..." Now I knew they were really here. I filled the food dish again and returned to my room. Time to find another activity to occupy me while I wait...

    Story

While it is true that Pips can be found in all regions across Latecia, they are also aloof and difficult to catch. Fan clubs advocate to admire them in the wild rather than trying to turn them into pets, and one reason for this is because Pips thoroughly enjoy building nests. They find cages unbearable, and if ever set free, they will immediately start to make a nest everywhere they can. Removing said nest would not discourage it, either; it would simply make another one. If you bring a Pip home as a pet, you must know that it will make a nest, whether you want it to or not.

"Seeing your room here, I think I've got an idea of just how much you love Pips. A really good idea, what with all the Pip pictures here, the stuffed animals... But if you love them so much, don't you think you need to take care of them?" "Yeah, I give them tons of food..." "And you also need to get rid of their nests! Lucky for you, I've got a ladder with your name on it. What, you say some of the nests are too high? Good news! I've got winged Astromons ready to give you a ride." "I'll do my best..." "I'm going to be watching you from below, so make sure you clean them up! And I'll catch any eggs that might fall!" "Thank you..."

    Story

Eventually the Pip came down on my head and hopped in circles, chirping. "Looks like you don't need me to hold you anymore. You can fly all by yourself." Her chirping sounded like she was saying she was okay. I felt strangely at ease. Pip could fly on her own now. I didn't need to look after her. Mom was right. "This whole sky is your house, isn't it?" As though to confirm what I said, she spread her wings and flew off into the distance, leaving behind only a small feather. It danced as it floated down through the sky. I took it and started heading down the hill. "See you later," I said, hoping we would meet again on this hill.
