  That night, Shane had a nightmare. Outside his window was complete darkness, and an unknown liquid covered his floor. Through a crack in his doorway, a dark purple tongue covered with teeth and dripping saliva came rushing toward his bed. Shane screamed and tried to run away, but none of his fingers would move. Giant ribs shot up from beneath his bed and trapped him, and his blanket, stained by greasy entrails, pulled him down into complete chaos. Shane woke up in a cold sweat, his mouth open and trying to scream, but no sound came out. He began to breathe heavily, and it was only after checking beneath his bed and outside his window that he felt safe enough to sit against his bed. Still shaken, he slowly looked around the room until his gaze met that of the Alpaca's, sitting once again in his chair. Amidst the darkness, the Alpaca's eyes glowed an eerie green.

I don't know how it gets up there, but it always manages to get down, so I guess it's okay..."
