    Story

Big or small, living organisms are defined by the free will they enjoy. From atop their tower of light, sometimes called the "roof of the world," the white sorceress and her "master" observe the Great Current created by the will of all things; however, they do not intervene when there are large disturbances. That is the responsibility of those called to preserve the balance, the keepers of the world, whose power is in line with that of "kings" and "queens."

    Story

"Of course, we have been much more active in resolving worldly issues than history would indicate. Some of the people you call 'leaders' really make a mess of things, like tyrants attempting to sacrifice their entire nation to the gods in order to complete an evil spell, or kings that attempt to suppress neighboring nations in the name of 'order' and 'justice.' Our involvement in those matters is never record...why're you looking at me like that? Oh. Yes, we do keep in check those who are overzealous in enforcing 'order.' If all chaos were to end, the world would end with it. You should ask the 'Queen of the Fairies' if you want to know more. Not that I can't be bothered to talk about it, but she likes to observe the Great Current by viewing cross sections of time. She also helps us out on occasion."

    Story

An excerpt from "Theories on Ecological Exchange Vol. 402" by the Astromon Academy: "Only a select few Viridis, after accumulating many years of experience and receiving special revelation from above, can evolve into Druidesses. The power they wield is Nature itself, a power no mortal can withstand. Some theories claim they can even manipulate gravity, but there have been no recorded instances of such."

    Story

"Latecia is home to more than just humans; countless numbers of living things also call it home. For being one mere part of Nature, their influence stretches across all the land. If all the humans were gone, there would be no danger to the balance, no end of the world. I have contemplated long and hard on whether humans should be allowed to continue living. Now, it is time I issue my conclusion."
