One witness's firsthand account: "It was pretty late in the evening, around the time the roads were getting dark and the street lamps were lighting up. I'd just finished work and was heading to my favorite pub for some homebrew to help alleviate my fatigue. It's a great place, wonderful atmosphere. The weather was nice and cool, so I grabbed a seat outside. Across the street, there was a street musician playing on an old instrument a song I quite like. I started tapping my foot, when suddenly an Astromon I've never seen slowly walked out into the street and blocked my line of sight. It was a little annoying, but then suddenly my jaw dropped. As soon as the Astromon started dancing, everyone around just stopped. The musician's melody and the Astromon's dance came together in perfect harmony, transporting that entire street somewhere else. It was only for a moment, but all of my exhaustion seemed to melt away. Once the musician finished his song, a person who looked like the Astromon's master came running out and escorted the Astromon away, his head bowed. The musician stared at them as they went, and although I was pretty far from him, I could hear him mumble. "That was... the best performance of my life..." I agreed with him. His viola was old and rugged, but as soon as that Astromon started dancing, it began producing heavenly melodies. The pub owner, Harrison, still says he's not sure if what he saw and heard was even real. But the musician still plays his viola at that spot, and is living proof of that moment. And he still has that smile on his face, like he's stuck in a dream."

From Master Beetlebeet's notes: "Once Bastet heard about the royal ball, she immediately perked up and said triumphantly that she would win it all. I don't think she understands that it's not a competition, just an excuse to socialize while you dance. When I told her she'd have to dance with a partner, she took all of our party members one by one to practice, but eventually she came back to me flustered, saying that I'd have to be her partner because I was at least not as bad as the others. (What a compliment, right?) The thing is, I've never really danced, and certainly never learned how to. Still, she insisted that we go, and that I only needed to follow her lead, so I went ahead and RSVP'd, but my stomach already hurts from the anxiety. Best-case scenario: I don't die from embarrassment."
